The Club has acquired a number of spare wheel/tyres which are available to members in the event they suffer a flat tyre. The spare wheel/tyres will be held by club members in various locations across Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra. Some of the spare wheel/tyres will only fit R53 models whilst other will fit both R53 and R56 models. No guarantee is given that the tyre/wheel combination close to you will fit your MINI, you should ask before you borrow. The spare wheel/tyre is available to clubMINI members only under the following conditions.

The club's spare wheel and tyre will be made available for longer club trips (in excess of two days) for use by members suffering a flat whilst on the drive (on the condition that it can be carried by a participant in the event and not withstanding that MINI Aust may continue to supply a support vehicle and spare wheels/tyres for our major drive each year, in which case the club spare wheel/tyre will not be required on that drive)

The spare wheel and tyre will also be available to any financial member who might suffer a flat tyre at any time and who has to wait up to say 3 weeks, for repairs or replacement of their original tyre. After 3 weeks the tyre/wheel is to be returned to the Club member from whom it was obtained.

Spare wheel/tyres are currently held by the following club members who should be contacted if you require use of the Club's spare wheel/tyre. Holders of the spare wheel can be contacted only during the following hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 8:30pm, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays - 10:30am to 6:00pm
